NOURI rise to fame began after her single ‘Where Do We Go From Here’ shot to the Top 10 in the New Zealand single charts.

After fleeing Syria during the Gulf War with her family NOURI decided to pursue a career in the music industry.

“I was speechless but I wasn’t that surprised. i say that so humbly, I work so hard to this point. That song I did independently. It was such a good feeling because our hard work there’s something to show for it.”

Her fan base grew tremendously which led NOURI to constantly post fan vids on Instagram.

“I must have looked like a crazy person but I didn’t care and there was this one video that I got and it was at a Syrian refugee camp and they were playing my song.

‘I cried like a baby, how full circle is that? The fact that I’m from there, left, chased my dream and for it to go back there just shows what you can do.”

The concept of the music video was a couple in love on a road trip with a hunk of a model. The reaction of the video’s model was one that she couldn’t deny.

“I saw his picture and I was like ‘Woah’ and the car we used was actually his.”

NOURI has a growing fan base and because of her story she is inspiring and plans to take her career to high heights revealing that she has just finished filming her music video for her new single “Favourite Goodbye”
